These SEAS events will take place at SALIENT FEDERAL SOLUTIONS adjacent to Los Angeles AFB.

TRAINING: August 1 - 3
This training course will familiarize first-time users with the SEAS workflow; introduce them to model construction with the agent-based modeling framework; and leave them a basic understanding of SEAS capabilities for military utility analysis.
Schedule:
Monday: 1200 - 1600
Tuesday: 0800 - 1600
Wednesday: 0800 - 1600
During the two and half day course, students will receive guided hands-on instruction:
* Learn how to build a model (scenario) using the Integrated Development Environment
* View scenario models with the SEAS user interface
* Run Monte Carlo simulations and analyze results with the SEAS Post-Processor
Recommended Prerequisites: computer programming experience
Requirements: None; Computers and software will be provided <<< NEW!
Format: Classroom instruction; hands-on
Attire: Business casual
Includes: Lunch and refreshments
Fee: $100
USER GROUP MEETING: August 4
The SEAS User Group (SUG) meeting is a valuable forum for military operations researchers and analysts to share and discuss their SEAS-related projects with the user community. As always, the development team will talk about the latest features and plans for upcoming releases.

Thursday: 0800 - 1600
Format: Presentations; guided discussion; demonstrations
Attire: Business casual
Includes: Lunch and refreshments
